VCP-NV: Expand Transport Zone to Include New Clusters

In my last post I briefly covered creating transport zones in NSX. This will be a short post to cover the VCP-NV objective around expanding an existing transport zone to include additional clusters.

In the vCenter Web Client, browse to ‘Networking and Security, and then to the ‘Installation Screen’. Under ‘Transport Zones’ select the zone that you wish to expand:

Click on the Actions button, then on Add Clusters. Select the cluster to add to the Transport Zone then click OK:

The transport zone will now be expanded to include the additional cluster(s).
